Carmel Klavier brings young talent to Carmel from around the World!

WHAT: The 5th annual Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition

WHERE: Center for the Performing Arts, Carmel, Indiana

WHEN: June 27-July 1, 2018 (all day events)

On June 27 – July, 2018, the 5th annual international piano competition for young pianists ages 5-18 will take place at the Performing Art Center in Carmel, Indiana. Over 1000 semi-finalists, their families and guests, representing 16 states and 8 different countries including Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Israel, Japan, Hong Kong, China, and USA will visit The Center of the Performing Arts, the City Center and Carmel Arts and Design District during this one-week event.

The competition will consist of many different categories, including solo, duet, concerto as well as master classes and private lessons by our distinguished panel of international judges. The awards ceremony and the Winner’s concert will take place on July 1st at the Palladium. The Concert will recognize young prodigies of the piano world and include special performances by our international jurors. We invite the public to come and enjoy the competition events with us.

Finalists of the competition will receive diplomas, trophies and $20,000 in scholarships. All aspects of the competition, including scholarships, have been sponsored by local businesses and generous donations from patrons of the arts.
