Pack the Cruiser at Kroger

On Saturday, June 2^nd, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., we encourage you to help “Pack the Cruiser” with food for the Summer Meal Food Drive.  The Carmel Kroger Stores located at 1217 South Range Line Road and 10675 North Michigan Road will be partnering with Carmel Police to assist with the Summer Meal program. 

To ensure all children receive proper nutrition during the summer and school vacation periods, the Summer Meal program provides food for eligible children in Hamilton County with hot meals to healthy snack packs throughout the year.  This program is designed to serve children most in need throughout Hamilton County who would typically receive free or reduced meals during the school year.  The Summer Meal program is dependent on the local community for support. 

Carmel Police Officers and volunteers will be at the Kroger stores on Saturday with a specific list of items needed for the program.  However, monetary donations or Kroger Gift Cards will also be accepted.  Please consider donating the items from the list and help us Pack the Cruiser!

Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank works closely with the Summer Meals programs year round and is proud to be a partner of Pack the Cruiser 2018.
