In four hours, you will be part of a studio crew, and on-camera talent, and learn by seeing and doing the basics of: prepping a camera, including attaching a lens, setting exposure, formatting an SD cardsetting up three-point lighting on on-camera talentcontrol what is seen in the backgroundthe use of a shotgun and wireless microphonethe rudiments of sound composition, videography and directingimporting footage into Adobe Premiere Elements, and conduct a rough two-camera edit Must be 13+ years of age. This after-hours Q and A is scheduled for Friday, January 11 from 6:00 to 6:30 PM at the Fishers Library and will feature a series of audience-generated questions answered firsthand by John Green. Ukulele Club

Learn the play the Ukulele! Learn such techniques as: how to hold the uke, how to tune, and how to read chords. Learn to play simple songs with 2 or 3 chords. Ukulele Club will meet the 4th Thursday of each month. For ages 8 and up. The library has 5 Ukuleles available to use at the library. There will be a sign up sheet at the Children's Reference desk one week before each class to reserve a Ukulele. All others will need to bring their own Ukuleles with them. Registration is required.
