INDIANA MEMBERS CREDIT UNION DELIVERS A BRIGHTER HOLIDAY TO LOCAL SCHOOL

(Indianapolis, IN) Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, distributed toys and gifts to brighten up the holidays and bring joy to many happy children during IMCU’s holiday celebration at Francis W. Parker Montessori School IPS 56 in Indianapolis, on Friday, December 21, 2018. During the holiday event all students received a winter scarf, handmade by IMCU employees. The students in Pre-K through 3rd grade also had a surprise visit from Santa Claus and were given a small toy.

This is the second year for IMCU to partner with Francis W. Parker Montessori School IPS 56 for their “Camp Read S’more” Event. Through generous donations from vendors, members and employees, Indiana Members Foundation was able to provide 360 scarves to all students and 175 toys to the Early Childhood Group.

“We are delighted to partner with Francis W. Parker Montessori School 56 and provide them with a special holiday celebration,” stated Ron Collier, President and CEO of IMCU. “IMCU employees donated money to purchase materials to make scarves for the kids at Francis W. Parker. Employees at our Southside location took a morning to cut out the fleece material to make over 360 scarves for the students. In addition, students in the Early Childhood Group were provided with a toy from IMCU.”

“We (Indiana Members Foundation) have been partnering with Francis W. Parker Montessori School 56 for the past few years and celebrating the holidays with the students is a great way to end the semester. I can’t thank Indiana Members Credit Union members, employees and volunteers enough for the generous support,” stated Mandy Emery, VP community involvement for IMCU
