The Farmers Bank Announces Hardship Relief Program for Customers Impacted by Coronavirus (COVID-19)

At The Farmers Bank we stand side-by-side with each of you as the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact communities across the county and our economy. As a local community bank, we understand the vital role we play in the health and financial well-being of our customers, employees and communities. All ten of our banking centers are located right here in Central Indiana which gives us a unique perspective on your current needs. We want you to know that we are here for you as we navigate these uncertain times together.

We have implemented several payment relief options to assist you with your payments should you need them due to the unstable conditions surrounding our country and communities. If you need to utilize any of the payment relief options below, as a result of your impact from the coronavirus pandemic, please contact us at 765-654-8731.

Here are just a few of the options we have in place:
• Consumer Transaction Fee Suspension – we are suspending our fees for using other banks’ ATMs and CD early withdrawal penalities.¹
• Consumer Transaction Fee Reimbursement - customers will be reimbursed for ATM usage outside of our network (not a Farmers Bank ATM).¹
• Installment / Auto Loan payment deferral program – those in need may defer payments up to 90 days without credit bureau impact, with all modification fees waived.¹
• Mortgage and Home Equity Loan payment deferral program – those in need may defer payments without credit bureau impact and have modification fees waived. ¹, ²
• Repossession Halt Program - we are not beginning any new vehicle repossessions or starting any new property foreclosures on consumer real estate loans for 30 days.¹

Also, please know that we have and will continue to make all bank services available to you during this time. Your funds will remain available to you. We also want to remind you that with regards to Governor Holcomb’s current stay-at-home order, The Farmers Bank is considered “essential” as we are part of the essential critical infrastructure for the financial services sector to process and maintain systems for processing financial transactions and services.

Since March 19th, we have been working diligently and implemented several options to ensure you have and continue to have multiple options for accessing your funds. If you are not already using any of the products and services mentioned below, you can find more information at www.thefarmersbank.com or contact your local Farmers Bank branch for assistance in using these products and services.
