Carmel Education Foundation will host “Conversation with Candidates,”

The Carmel Education Foundation will host “Conversation with Candidates,” a Carmel Clay School Board Candidate Forum on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. The event will be live-streamed on Carmel Education Foundation’s Facebook Live page, @CarmelEdFdn, from the Carmel High School Auditorium, but will not be open to the public due to social distancing guidelines. A recording of the conversation will be available on YouTube on October 21, 2020.

The community is invited to submit questions at https://forms.gle/M27zNEoZwBdQyXvCA through October 12, 2020. The link is also available on the Carmel Education Foundation website, www.ccs.k12.in.us/foundation. Questions should pertain to the role and responsibilities of the board which are to set goals and establish policy and to recruit, hire, and evaluate the superintendent.

Jack Russell, President and CEO of OneZone, Inc. will serve as moderator of the conversation. Each of the nine candidates running for the two at-large positions will be able to share their vision for Carmel Clay Schools by presenting a video introduction, responding to questions, and sharing closing comments.

The nine candidates are Katie Browning (incumbent), Susan Chamberlin-Dawes, Beth Glynn, Sam Harris, Benita Hutt, Louise Jackson, Paige Miller, Timothy Moehl, and Anne Poindexter.
