Indiana Tech approved as a Project Management Institute Authorized Training Partner

Fort Wayne, Indiana – Tuesday, March 23, 2021

Indiana Tech’s project management programs within its College of Business have been approved by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as part of its Authorized Training Partner program.

The partner designation includes endorsement of Indiana Tech’s project management coursework according to PMI’s stringent industry standards; access to exclusive PMI-developed course content and resources; and instructor training to help the Indiana Tech team prepare students for the industry-standard Project Management Professional (PMP) exam. PMI endorsement and designation as an authorized partner are important markers of program quality and of Indiana Tech’s effectiveness in preparing students for successful careers in project management.

“The Project Management Institute is the world's largest and most respected professional association for project management professionals,” said Dr. Kathleen Hanold Watland, dean of Indiana Tech’s College of Business. “We are so proud to earn this designation as it ensures our program meets the PMI's high standards for quality and currency and that our students are engaging with course material that prepares them to lead and manage projects across all industries.”

Indiana Tech offers a Master of Business Administration and a graduate certificate in project management. Those interested in pursuing education in this field can learn more at academics.indianatech.edu/programs.
